I see in each employee a unique building block of a team and an organisation. I want to inspire people and organisations and assist in the discovery and development of talent. I intend, as a long-term result, to link this talent with the different objectives and roles that people have set for themselves or for the organisations. I have 25 years experience as HR manager in several organisations, both profit and non-profit. As a coach, my focus is on managing change, supporting groups in their development towards increased cooperation and effectiveness, as well as coaching managers on leadership and personal leadership. I was for many years active in the private sector, first in sales, then as manager and director. Jobs that I did with passion. But even if at that time I used my 'unconscious' knowledge to do business and to lead, I wanted to take it to the next level. I love to help people and to maximise their potential. After my training 'Inspirational Coaching " I decided to work on it full time. Key concepts in my work are:
- Focus on performance: go for what is useful and meaningful to achieve objectives
- Impartiality: look at things objectively and sincerely, and treat everyone equally
- Connection: strong connection with people and with nature
- Inspire: support people so that they get energised and start moving forward.
- Reframing: look from a different perspective in order to come up with a constructive result.

I have been working for many years as a lecturer at Artevelde University college in the programme “Bachelor Social Work”. In addition to providing training in the Postgraduate Professional Coach, leading and advising are a big part of my responsibilities.
Throughout the years I specialised in systemic therapy, mediation, supervision, inter-vision and especially in coaching. Looking again and again at what cannot be seen immediately, listening to what is not being said... that’s where I help inspire and move forward. This is very valuable, for yourself, but also for the people around you! Finding out, together, what works for you in your situation is always my focus. I've always been curious about what puts people into action. Add to this the fascination for the interaction between man and his a environment and it's obvious why I studied clinical psychology (systems theory). What needs the interaction between the individual and the system(s) he lives in so that it can contribute to the development of both?
From my practice as an independent psychologist /coach, I have built up experience of personal leadership and existential matters. I love to link with what 'is'. To explore the matters until it is really clear what it is about. To find out what the true expectancy is behind the question. This brings (often unexpected) brightness and lightness in thinking and feeling. The progress, the action plan towards what is desired, then follows almost effortlessly.
